Exceptional opportunity for an experienced Urban Planner to join a leading German Architectural and Engineering consultancy, supporting the planning and development of complex technical sites with a particular focus on data centres and large-scale infrastructure developments.

Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 + package (based on experience)


Job Description:

The Resolute Group is supporting a major German Architectural and Engineering consultancy seeking to appoint an Urban Planner to support the development and planning of complex technical sites in Frankfurt. This role will contribute to the early-stage planning and feasibility of projects, particularly for mission-critical infrastructure such as data centres.
Working closely with internal design teams, clients, and authorities, you will support site evaluation, concept development, planning coordination, and the preparation of planning approvals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluating sites, development areas, and planning concepts to support the optimal implementation of data centre and infrastructure projects.
  • Supporting early project phases including feasibility studies and Phase 0 concept development, such as the preparation of masterplans.
  • Coordinating with clients, internal stakeholders, and specialist planners to define structural and planning requirements.
  • Supporting the preparation and coordination of development plans and zoning procedures.
  • Assisting with planning approval and building permit processes, including coordination with public authorities.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams including architecture, transport planning, landscape planning, and engineering disciplines.
  • Supporting project communication and documentation throughout the planning process.

Job Requirement

Requirements
  • Degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Knowledge of the German zoning and development planning process, including procedures from preparation through to statute resolution
  • Basic understanding of specialist planning disciplines such as transport planning, landscape planning, or environmental planning
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • German and English language skills at C1 level or above
