Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the design, analysis and modelling of structural systems across a range of complex building projects.
  • Develop and coordinate detailed 3D structural models using BIM and digital design tools.
  • Work with structural systems including steel, reinforced concrete and, where relevant, timber structures.
  • Produce and coordinate structural drawings, models and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with Architects, Mechanical, Electrical and other engineering disciplines.
  • Coordinate structural models and resolve clashes and technical interfaces across multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Support the development of structural solutions from concept design through detailed design and construction stages.
  • Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings and technical discussions.
  • Ensure structural models and deliverables meet project requirements, quality standards and programme deadlines.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of BIM processes, digital workflows and best practice.
  • Support the use and development of innovative digital design methods, including parametric design and automation where appropriate.
  • Share technical knowledge and contribute to the continued development of the structural engineering team.

Job Requirement

Requirements for the position:
  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in structural design, analysis, modelling or a combination of these areas.
  • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and building structures.
  • Experience working with steel and reinforced concrete structures.
  • Experience developing and coordinating structural models using Autodesk Revit or similar BIM software.
  • Ability to interpret engineering calculations, structural designs and technical information.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary project environments.
  • German language skills with strong English proficiency.
  • Experience delivering data centres, industrial facilities, laboratories, logistics developments or other complex buildings.
  • Knowledge of German structural design standards and regulations, including Eurocodes and DIN standards.
