Wastewater Project Engineer - Zurich
The Resolute Group are supporting a client based around the Zurich area. The company are a mid-sized engineering firm, which delivers expert services in urban drainage, drinking water systems, civil infrastructure, and municipal engineering.
Location: Zurich
Salary: Experience Dependent
Circa 85,000 CHF - 100,000 CHF

Salary: Experience Dependent
Circa 85,000 CHF - 100,000 CHF
Day-to-day duties will vary but could include:
- Oversee and manage projects related to wastewater systems, from concept to completion
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, including junior managers, engineers, and designers, while coordinating with external consultants and specialists
- Take ownership of project quality, timelines, and budgets
- Provide direct updates to department leadership and senior management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, public authorities, contractors, and partners
- Guide projects through all development stages, ensuring smooth execution
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Academic qualification in environmental engineering or a comparable field
- German language is non-negotiable for this position
- Several years of hands-on experience managing wastewater-related developments
- Proven ability in leading projects or supporting as a junior project manager
- Solid portfolio of relevant projects, such as treatment plant upgrades, new facility builds, micro-pollutant control, or sludge treatment systems
- In-depth knowledge of regional planning standards and project workflows
- Confident communicator who can engage effectively with professionals and the public
