An exciting opportunity for an experienced Resident Engineer (Mechanical) to join a leading international engineering consultancy delivering hyperscale data centre developments across Germany and Europe. Salary: €90,000 – €110,000 + package (depending on experience)

The Resolute Group is partnering with a globally recognised engineering consultancy in the search of a Resident Engineer (Mechanical) for large-scale data centre developments.
Working as part of the site delivery team, you will oversee the installation, coordination, and quality of complex mechanical building services throughout the construction phase. Acting as the key mechanical representative on site, you will work closely with contractors, consultants, and client teams to ensure systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with design specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of mechanical building services on complex construction projects
- Monitor site activities to ensure works are completed in accordance with design specifications, quality standards, and project requirements
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client representatives to resolve technical issues during construction
- Review mechanical installations including HVAC, chilled water, cooling, and associated plant systems
- Carry out inspections, witness testing, and support commissioning activities through to project handover
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, technical standards, and project procedures
- Identify construction risks and provide practical engineering solutions to maintain programme and quality objectives
- Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and site documentation for project stakeholders

- Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Experience working on data centres, mission-critical facilities, pharmaceutical, or other technically complex developments
- Strong knowledge of mechanical building services, including HVAC, cooling systems, chilled water, and associated infrastructure
- Previous experience supervising mechanical installation works during the construction phase
- Understanding of commissioning processes, quality assurance, and site coordination
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent English required; German language skills would be advantageous
