The Resolute Group are currently working in partnership with an established international engineering and design consultancy who are expanding their Data Centre and Mission Critical team in Germany. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer with a strong consultancy background to step into a technically demanding, leading role.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and other engineering specialists, contributing to projects for major international data centre clients.
Location: Frankfurt (hybrid working)
Salary: €80,000 - €100,000 basic + package

Job Description
As Lead Structural Engineer, you will take responsibility for the structural engineering input across a range of complex projects, from design development through to construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and delivering structural engineering solutions for large-scale data centre and mission-critical projects.
- Undertaking structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete, steel and other structural systems.
- Producing and reviewing structural calculations, technical reports, drawings and design documentation.
- Applying relevant German design codes and standards, particularly DIN and Eurocode requirements.
- Working closely with architects, civil engineers, MEP specialists and other disciplines to develop coordinated design solutions.
- Acting as a technical point of contact for clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
- Reviewing structural designs and calculations produced by internal teams and external partners.
- Identifying and resolving technical issues throughout the design and construction process.
- Participating in design reviews, technical workshops and client meetings.
- Supporting the development of practical, cost-effective and buildable structural solutions.
- Monitoring the technical quality and progress of structural deliverables against project requirements and agreed budgets.
- Contributing technical expertise to the wider development of the Data Centre and Mission Critical business in Germany.

Fluent German at B2 level or above is essential for this position, alongside strong English communication skills. Candidates without the required German language capability will unfortunately not be considered.

- A degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Around 7+ years of relevant professional experience within a structural engineering consultancy or similar environment.
- Strong experience designing building structures using steel, reinforced concrete and/or comparable structural systems.
- Good knowledge of German structural design standards, DIN and Eurocodes.
- Experience using structural analysis and design software, ideally within a modern 3D design environment.
- Previous experience with data centres, mission-critical facilities or other complex industrial/building projects would be highly advantageous.
- The ability to take ownership of structural engineering packages and work independently while collaborating effectively with wider project teams.
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with clients, contractors and other technical stakeholders.
- Fluent German and English.
- Willingness to travel occasionally where required for project and client requirements.
