Job Description
The Resolute Group is working in partnership with an Independent Construction and Property Consultancy who are looking to expand their Project Management Team in Berlin, focusing on a range of construction and fit-out projects within the building industry including data centres, logistics, offices, commercial, public buildings etc.
Day-to-day duties could include:
- Assist in managing projects across all phases, supporting senior team members to ensure delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants, helping to gather information, schedule meetings, and ensure clear communication of project objectives.
- Contribute to the development of project schedules, resource plans, and budgets, tracking progress and flagging any issues to senior project managers.
- Support the tendering and procurement process, including preparing documentation, comparing bids, and assisting with contract administration.
- Help ensure projects comply with local building regulations, standards, and internal procedures by conducting basic checks and supporting senior staff.
- Assist in identifying project risks, maintaining risk logs, and supporting mitigation planning under the guidance of senior managers.
- Prepare drafts of progress reports and presentations for clients and senior management, ensuring accurate and up-to-date project information.
- Contribute to sustainability and ESG initiatives, supporting data collection and implementation of project-related environmental measures.
Requirements for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Real Estate Management, or a related field.
- Some professional experience (during or after studies) in project support, project monitoring, or construction consultancy, ideally within the German construction industry.
- Fluent in German and English (C1 minimum) – written and spoken.
- Basic understanding of German building regulations, contracts, and project lifecycle processes.
- Familiarity with project documentation, scheduling, and reporting tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD) is desirable.
