Excellent opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join a leading construction organisation working on large-scale turnkey building projects across Germany.
Location: Düsseldorf, Germany
Salary: €70,000 - €80,000 (experience dependent)

Job Description
The company is seeking a skilled Estimator / Kalkulator to support the delivery of industrial, commercial, and residential turnkey construction projects. The role focuses on cost estimation, BIM-based quantity take-offs, subcontractor procurement, and commercial risk evaluation throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the independent cost calculation of turnkey building construction projects
- Development of budgets and cost estimates using 3D BIM models
- Creation of quantity take-offs and cost planning using Allplan (Nemetschek), Nevaris, or comparable tools
- Preparation of service specifications in accordance with German standards (VOB/BGB/DIN)
- Obtaining, analysing, and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Participation in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors
- Identification and evaluation of risks, opportunities, and cost variations
- Preparation of supplementary calculations in coordination with project delivery teams
- Development of alternative solutions and value engineering proposals
- Regular site visits across Germany to gather project information

- Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Technology, or a comparable technical qualification
- 3–5+ years of professional experience in cost estimation within construction
- Strong experience in turnkey building construction (industrial, commercial, or residential)
- Strong understanding of construction economics and technical project delivery
- Experience with BIM processes and 3D modelling tools (Allplan / Nemetschek desirable)
- Experience with construction costing and quantity surveying software (e.g., Nevaris or similar)
- Strong communication skills with a proactive and assertive approach
- Business fluency in German (native level) and English (minimum B2)
- Valid Class B driving licence and willingness to travel (2–3 times per month)
