An excellent opportunity for a passionate Environmental Engineer to join an international engineering consultancy, based in their Frankfurt team.
Location: Frankfurt, Germany.
Salary: €65,000 - €85,000 basic + Additional Benefits (experience dependent)
Job Description:
The Resolute Group is working in partnership with a strongly established international consultancy, who are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to join their team. You will support the delivery of complex Mission Critical / Data Centre projects across Germany and Europe, working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure projects meet environmental regulations, sustainability targets, and permitting requirements.
The organisation is a global engineering and project management consultancy with over 6,000 professionals worldwide, delivering sustainable solutions across the built environment, infrastructure, and industry sectors.
In this role, you will contribute to the environmental planning and permitting process for both greenfield and brownfield data centre developments, ensuring compliance with local regulations and environmental standards while supporting the development of sustainable design strategies.

In this role, you will contribute to the environmental planning and permitting process for both greenfield and brownfield data centre developments, ensuring compliance with local regulations and environmental standards while supporting the development of sustainable design strategies.
Day-to-day duties will vary but could include:
- Supporting environmental permitting processes for large-scale data centre developments.
- Preparing environmental reports, documentation and regulatory submissions.
- Coordinating with local authorities, consultants, and internal engineering teams throughout project delivery.
- Advising project teams on environmental compliance, sustainability requirements and best practice.
- Ensuring projects meet German and European environmental legislation and regulatory standards.
- Supporting environmental impact assessments and environmental management plans.
- Monitoring environmental compliance during design and construction phases.
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams including civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineers.
- Contributing to sustainable design strategies for mission critical infrastructure projects.
Job Requirement
Qualifications & Experience required:

- Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geoscience or a related discipline.
- Experience supporting environmental permitting or environmental compliance on construction or infrastructure projects.
- Experience within data centres, mission critical facilities, or large industrial developments is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of German environmental legislation and regulatory processes.
- Ability to prepare technical environmental reports and regulatory documentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Fluent English, with German being highly advantageous.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering or consultancy environments.
