Working directly for a client, managing their Capital portfolio across the UK, with a portfolio of over 400 sites supported by your Capital works Project Managers .
The Opportunity:
The Resolute Group has been retained to appoint a Capital Delivery Lead to provide senior delivery leadership across a significant capital works portfolio.The role will take responsibility for the safe, effective and professional delivery of a diverse portfolio covering major works, infrastructure schemes, depots and small/intermediate works.
Working across the UK, acting as the centralise function is managing a controlling the work portfolio, providing the leadership, governance and programme control required to ensure projects are properly prioritised, sequenced, mobilised and delivered in line with approved business cases, operational requirements, budget, programme and risk expectations.
This is a highly collaborative role, working with Property, Commercial, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Technical teams and external delivery partners to ensure capital projects are controlled and accountable from initial development through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
The portfolio is UK-wide, and travel will be required to each region, however, you will have a regional Project Manager in place looking after the day-to-day overview of the portfolio.

- Salary: £120,000 - £130,000 basic + Bonus + Package
- Working Pattern: Hybrid / 3 days in the office

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of a defined capital works portfolio, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to agreed scope, budget, quality and programme.
- Establish and maintain delivery plans across the portfolio including major works, depot infrastructure and small/intermediate works.
- Manage portfolio programme controls including cost forecasting, programme tracking, risk and issue management, change control and dependency management.
- Act as the key interface between internal stakeholders, property, commercial, finance, procurement, legal and outsourced delivery partners.
- Oversee PMO and technical support functions, ensuring delivery partners perform against agreed scope, service levels, costs and performance standards.
- Support the development and approval of robust business cases, testing deliverability, costs, and operational impacts.
- Hold consultants, contractors, delivery partners and internal stakeholders accountable for performance, quality, safety, cost and programme delivery.

Job Requirement
Experience & Qualifications
- Degree in an industry-related subject
- Experience is managing a portfolio of buildings and capital works (Not residential)
- Proven experience in managing project managers and working on behalf of a client as their representative.
- Living in and around the London region as the HQ is in central London.
