LocationHome-based (with travel across all Scandinavian countries)
SalaryCirca €80,000 - €100,000 (experience dependent) + Package

Job Description:

The Resolute Group have been retained by an international manufacturer of specialist components, supplying critical parts for the High Voltage (HV) and power transmission sectors across the globe. A key player in the supply chain supporting HV cabling, overhead lines, and substations, this company’s products are also seeing increasing demand in adjacent sectors such as transportation, construction, infrastructure, and general engineering applications.

Following a successful commercial year and with clear ambitions to double the European sales team, the company is investing heavily in growth across the region.

To support this, we are now seeking a proactive and commercially focused Sales Business Development Manager to join the Scandinavian or Nordic division – someone who is excited by a role that is:
🔹 80% New Business Development
🔹 20% Account Management
You’ll be instrumental in converting project opportunities, influencing technical specifications, and forging new strategic relationships. You’ll collaborate with senior leadership across Europe, but have full autonomy over your region, sales activity, and pipeline.
This role suits someone with strong technical understanding and a commercially driven mindset. Someone who enjoys working independently, building lasting relationships, and being at the forefront of market expansion across multiple sectors.

Role Responsibility:
  • Drive commercial growth by converting project opportunities and influencing specifications across Scandinavia.
  • Identify and develop new business with end users, specifiers, OEMs, and distributors.
  • Build and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to strengthen market presence and align with broader sales objectives.
  • Manage own sales pipeline while supporting team performance where needed.

Person Specification:
  • Previous Business Development experience within an engineering or technical product environment.
  • English language (fluent), plus other languages are highly advantageous (Dutch, German, Swedish, Norwegian).
  • Full driving license, with flexibility to travel.
  • Self-motivated, commercially aware, and capable of working remotely without micro-management.
