Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and commercially focused individual to take ownership of business growth activities across a defined territory in Germany. This position plays a key role in driving commercial performance by converting project opportunities, influencing technical specifications, and developing strategic business relationships.

The individual will collaborate with senior sales leadership and regional colleagues to strengthen the company’s position in the market. Responsibilities include identifying key stakeholders, building effective routes to market, and shaping tactical plans that support sustainable growth.Success in this role will require an independent mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to build trust across a diverse customer base. The ideal candidate will also be experienced in managing their own pipeline while supporting others where appropriate to deliver team-wide results.

Role Responsibility:
  • Drive commercial growth by converting project opportunities and influencing specifications within a defined region in Germany.
  • Identify and develop new business with end users, specifiers, OEMs, and distributors.
  • Build and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to strengthen market presence and align with broader sales objectives.
  • Evaluate and optimise supply routes and go-to-market strategies.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and customer needs.
  • Manage own sales pipeline while supporting team performance where needed.
  • Operate independently with a results-oriented approach and strong organisational skills.

Person Specification:
  • 8+years of sales experience within an engineering business.
  • German and English language (both to a fluent level). Applications without this will not be considered.
  • Full driving licence, with flexibility to travel.
  • Experience of developing, managing and delivering a sales budget.
