Job Description:
The Resolute Group is working in partnership with a leading international engineering consultancy to support the growth of their specialist data centre team.This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale, mission-critical projects, contributing to both the technical delivery and commercial success of schemes from early-stage design through to construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery and coordination of multi-disciplinary design packages across data centre projects
- Take ownership of key project workstreams, ensuring alignment with programme, budget, and technical requirements
- Assist in managing project teams, including internal engineers and external consultants
- Contribute to design reviews, technical coordination, and problem-solving across MEP and architectural interfaces
- Engage with clients and stakeholders, providing updates and technical input throughout project lifecycles
- Support the preparation of technical reports, specifications, and project documentation
- Monitor project progress, identifying risks and supporting mitigation strategies
- Contribute to commercial aspects including fee proposals, resource planning, and project performance tracking
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team environment
- Ensure all designs align with relevant regulations, industry standards, and sustainability objectives

- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Typically 5–8+ years experience within engineering consultancy or construction environments
- Exposure to data centre or mission-critical projects is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of design coordination and project delivery processes
- Experience working with BIM / Revit and associated design tools
- Knowledge of UK building regulations, standards, and best practices
- Working towards or holding Chartered status (or equivalent) is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and project teams
